Destructor Difficulty Level: Complex
Max. Distance Increase: +10 feet
Opt. Distance Increase: +10 feet
Directions: This variant is achieved in several steps and is fairly
complex.
1) Open up your Crossbow. Whenever opening up any toy
be sure to memorize how it looks before moving anything. Notice how the
pressure chamber is connected to a hose which bends twice before
getting to the ammo chamber. This winding and twisting distracts and lessens
the airflow. This problem must be corrected.
2) Remove the ammo chamber from it's top position, removing
the yellow tubing which connects the ammo chamber to the pressure chamber.
Remove the spring from within this tube. Cut the tube so you have one piece
which is approximately two inches in length. Reconnect the tubing to the
ammo and pressure chambers.
This makes the airflow a straight unobstructed path.
3) If you look carefully at the underside of the ammo chamber you will notice
small holes. Place a piece of tape over these holes to prevent air loss.
4) If you now look at the exit point of the ammo chamber from the toy housing,
there is now space, making the ammo chamber loose. You need to find something,
such as foam, cardboard, or what have you to restabilize it.
5) Reassemble your Crossbow.
