The Super Maxx(TM) 3000 toy is an awesome weapon, its range and accuracy even surpass other Nerf® toys. Larami really did a good job on this one. No wonder at one time it was distributed by Sharper Image catalog.
Nothing really bad can be said about this toy other than it is a little on the large side, but that is average for a high load weapon, and you have to pump it after each firing.
I would have loved to give it a higher rating, but sorry guys, the rating system is mathematical, and the low optimum distance really dropped the weapon rating. If it weren't for the low Optimum distance and somewhat slow rate of fire, this weapon could have rated a high 8, or low 9.
This toy used to be owned and distributed by Larami, and thus the original design was by them. Nerf® added new colors and stickers, but I believe this is the same toy overall.
