Today marks the debut of the Web's latest offering in Nerf®-brand toy oriented web sites.  Nerf®Center, the unofficial source for Nerf®-brand gun reviews, previews, news, and links opened at 9:00 AM EST this morning.  It should be noted that the site was opened on June 6th, the anniversary of D-Day.

Nerf®Center has been in development since early September of last year.  A group of six individuals (dubbed "TeamNC") have put a lot of time and effort into creating the various aspects of the site.  Although the site was geared to be opened to the public in March of '99, finalizations and changes in the large database of gun reviews led to the release date being pushed back a few months.

The site contains over 70 Nerf®-brand weapon reviews, and several other non-Nerf® toy gun reviews.  The philosophy used when reviewing the weapons was a "no bull" one.  The reviews are based around factual data, and not the opinions of the review team or the testing team.

Also featured on Nerf®Center is the Internet's largest list of Nerf® "fan sites" (like Nerf®Center).  These sites, which include weapon modifications, war stories, and battle tactics cover the areas of "Nerfing" which Nerf®Center currently does not.  Please visit the Links page and show some support for the other unofficial Nerf® sites, many of which inspired the members of TeamNC to create Nerf®Center.

Thanks go to all of you who are visiting Nerf®Center right now.   Your support and feedback will help this site prosper in the future.
