Future Uncertain for Gatlin' Storm

A customer representative at Hasbro® today indicated that the Nerf® Gatlin' Storm™ is not scheduled for a release in the near future.  In fact, the weapon is not in the customer support computers at all.

What does this mean?  It's rather odd that information about an upcoming weapon would not be readily available to customer support representatives.  Typically, consumers ask about upcoming products; it is key for a company like Hasbro® to have some sort of answer for every consumer question.

Could this be an oversight?  Perhaps.  Don't forget, however, that the Gatlin' Storm™ did not appear to be an Airjet Power™ weapon.  It was scheduled to be part of the Mega Blitz™ series of guns, all of which were remade into the "new logo, new yellow box, no series" weapons.  With the popularity of the Airjet Power™ series, Hasbro® may be holding back the Gatlin' Storm™ until the next series of guns come out.  Or perhaps they are dropping the idea for the gun altogether.

The first Nerf® weapon to be nixed while in design?  Not yet.  Remember the length of time it took the Mad Hornet™ to come out, though- over a year.

We'll keep you updated on the future of the Gatlin' Storm™.
